# GB 14: Fairey Swordfish Mk.III w/ ASV Mk.XI radar

Utrustad med en cm-radar speciellt lämpad för torped- och spaningsflygplan flög 119.Sqn i Coastal Command nattjaktsuppdrag bl.a för att finna snorklande ubåtar.  
Flygplanen var utrustade med en stor radom mellan landställsbenen, Leigh-strålkastare och med en överbyggd mittplats för radaroperatören.

Beväpningen bestod av raketer, lys- och mindre sprängbomber.

Byggsatsen är Airfix som kom ut ursprungligen 1958.

Dekalerna kommer ifrån ESCI (...så var det iallafall tänkt)

Passformen är i överlag bra. Gamla fina formar.

Alla sätt är bra, allafall nästan. Jag fick en spricka i ovanvingen när den låg i press, men den åtgärdades med lite ethylacetetat i skarven och två klämmor.  
Radomen ligger färdig för montering.

Raketerna står och väntar på sin gröna rand.

Framkanten på motorkåpan och avgasröret är lackat i Mr.Metal polerbar stainless.

ESCI-dekalerna visade sig vara i stort sett oanvändbara. Ingen vidhäftning och lyfte i alla hörn. Ersättning hittades i skrotlådan.

Här är den enda dekalen som jag inte kunde ersätta. Den tvättades först ren från allt gammalt odugligt klister. Modellen klarlackades med Humbrol 35 som fick torka till lite. Dekalen torkades av och sattes vått på plats och förseglades med ytterligare ett lager Humbrol 35.

#6 Tackar! Förutom dekalerna har allt flutit på utan problem.
